Martin Rubenstein

Dr. Martin Rubenstein is one of the founding physicians of Southbay Oncology Hematology Partners. He received his Bachelors in Science degree with Distinction in Biology and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree at Stanford University and completed his Internship, Residency and Fellowship in Hematology at Stanford University Hospital. Dr. Rubenstein is board certified in Internal Medicine and Hematology. A Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Rubenstein served as the Medical Director of O’Connor Hospital Cancer Center, the President of the Medical Staff in 1993-1994 and Chairman of the Department of Medicine in 1990-1991 at O’Connor Hospital. He was a member of the Cancer Care Committee from 1981-1996. Dr. Rubenstein has been a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine and a former Chairman of the American Red Cross Central California Region Medical Advisory Committee.

Dr. Rubenstein is married, has two children, and enjoys traveling, photography, golf, and cross-country skiing.
